General Donations
As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, our success is dependent on the generosity of our benefactors. Our board is all-volunteer. Our events, which are usually free, are sponsored by community and corporate friends.
Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. We depend heavily on donations to sustain our activities.

The School of American Music is on a 10-year campaign to raise an endowment that will guarantee SAM’s financial future. We urge you to become part of this campaign by donating generously to the Future Fund. Our goal is to raise $500,000 by 2030. The school is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible. In addition, every dollar you donate to the Future Fund will be matched by the Michiana Arts Foundation.
