Scholarships
School of American Music is proud to offer scholarships to students who would like to learn to play an instrument or sing, who otherwise may not be able to afford the cost of lessons. Our scholarships are confidentials and can be applied for below.
Scholarships are awarded on a percentage basis for 10-week sessions. One scholarship is available for each student for each 10-week session. We support a three-tier program:
Tier I: General Program
Applications are accepted for all ages. Scholarship amounts are available for up to 50 percent of base tuition.
Tier II: LaPorte Service League
100 percent scholarships are available for eligible families, thanks to a local partnership with the LaPorte Service League.
Tier III: River Valley Foundation
For eligible students, thanks to a local partnership with the River Valley Foundation. The number of scholarships available are limited.
