GARTH TAYLOR teaches Music Composition, Guitar, and Ensemble Performance at the School of American Music in Three Oaks. He wrote tunes and directed the musical score for the Summer, 2017 Three Oaks Sesquicentennial play “Three Oaks Against the World.” He also composed and directed the musical score for the 2016 EK Warren History video and the 2017 Pokagon History videos sponsored by the Region of Three Oaks Museum. His first job out of college was Musical Director at a small theater in Minneapolis. Since then he has led and performed in jug bands, blues bands, bluegrass bands, wedding bands, and solo. He can frequently be heard trying out new musical material at the Acorn open mic, and at the Saturday morning Farmers Market in Three Oaks.
